Words From the Circle

I started grief support with Terri after the loss of my child. I 100% believe she was divinely sent to me. I knew I couldn't do it alone and wanted someone who knew exactly what I was feeling. I absolutely love her for ALL she has done. She allowed me to feel all my emotions and gave me the courage to step forward.

Terri became the person I could open up to after the loss of my son — the most difficult thing I have ever faced. She helped me move past so much: guilt, shame, anger, and fear. She helped me see my grief in a new way. Her workbook continues to help me through this incredibly tough time.

Terri helped me through the toughest time in my life. She showed me a way to see hope — to find joy and not feel guilty about it, to miss my son and be able to share his life with happiness. I carry him with me differently now.

Working through grief with Terri changed my life. I realized I was grieving so much more than I knew. She listened to every word and helped me realize things I had no idea about myself. I'll be forever grateful. If I could give her 100 stars I would.

I can not say enough good things. The personalized guided meditation Terri created for me has already helped me let go of the negative thoughts that were consuming me. This process has changed my life in a way I hadn't imagined it could. I can't recommend this enough.

Meet your grief companion

Terri Chaplin

Terri is not just a trained grief companion — she is also a mother who has lost her son. She knows this particular grief from the inside. She understands the weight of being asked "how many children do you have?" and the courage it takes to say his name in a room where people grow quiet.

That lived experience is the foundation of this circle. Terri walks alongside grieving mothers not as someone who has all the answers, but as someone who has walked this road herself — and who refuses to let any mother walk it alone.

Her methods are grounded in deep listening, heart-centered presence, and simple tools that meet each mother right where she is — honoring the love, not just the loss.

What You May Be Wondering

Yes. This circle was created specifically for mothers who have experienced the loss of a child — any age, any circumstances. Whether your child was an infant, a teenager, or an adult, your loss and your identity as their mother are fully honored here.
You are welcome here regardless of when your loss occurred. Grief does not follow a calendar. Whether your loss was recent or years ago, this is a space where you can come exactly as you are — without anyone expecting you to "be over it."
Absolutely. Many members choose to attend, listen, and simply absorb the comfort of being surrounded by others who understand. There is never pressure to speak. Your presence is enough, and showing up quietly is just as powerful as sharing.
Live sessions meet twice per month for 75 minutes each. The Zoom link and schedule are always available in your member dashboard after you join. If you miss a session, the private community is there for you in between.
Yes. Terri lost her son, and it is that loss — alongside her professional training as a Certified Master Grief Companion — that brought this circle to life. She does not lead from theory. She leads from experience, from love, and from a deep understanding of what it means to carry this particular grief.
No. This is grief companioning — a compassionate, non-clinical form of support focused on presence, witnessing, and walking alongside you. It is not therapy or mental health counseling. If you need clinical support, Terri can help connect you with additional resources.
Yes. You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard — no questions asked. This circle is meant to support you, not to bind you. You are always in control of your journey.
No. To honor the privacy and emotional safety of every member, sessions are never recorded. This ensures a sacred, confidential space where you can show up fully without concern about being seen outside the circle.
