Terri didn’t set out to become a grief companion — grief found her first. In 2005, she lost her first husband. Seven years later, she faced one of the most devastating losses imaginable when her son — her only child — was killed in a car accident. More recently, she lost her beloved sister.

Through each loss, Terri discovered something unexpected: purpose. She found her calling in helping others navigate the terrain of grief she knew so deeply herself. This work is not just her profession — it’s a living tribute to the people she has loved and lost.

Today, Terri runs Healing Hearts Community from Tampa, Florida, offering accredited grief companion training and compassionate support to people navigating loss around the world. She understands that doing sacred work isn’t enough if nobody knows you’re there — and she built this course to help you change that.
