A sacred, unhurried gathering for women who are ready to stop carrying their grief alone and step into something profoundly healing, in community with others who truly understand.
Reserve My SpotEvery element of this retreat was chosen to hold you gently and help you breathe again.
Gather in honest, unhurried circles where your story is witnessed without interruption, advice, or silver linings โ just the quiet grace of being truly heard.
As the sun sets, gather around an open fire beneath the trees. Some of the most profound healing happens in these quiet hours โ simply present, simply together.
Walk the outdoor labyrinth at your own pace. Let the Florida forest carry you. Movement and stillness weave together throughout the retreat in deeply intentional ways.
Lie back and let the singing bowls and gentle instruments do the work. Sound healing reaches the places words cannot, releasing what the body has been holding.
Art, journaling, and creative practices offer a different language for grief โ one that doesn't require the right words. No artistic experience needed. Just willingness.
Step into the trees and simply be. Forest bathing is the ancient practice of slowing down and opening your senses to the natural world โ and grief softens in ways it rarely does indoors.
Step away from the noise and into a space that was designed for exactly this kind of healing.
This retreat was created for women who are tired of carrying their grief alone โ and ready to be held.
You don't have to be "ready." You just have to be willing to show up.
In their own words โ from women who arrived carrying grief and left carrying something different.
I recently attended a grief retreat led by Master Grief Coach,Terri Chaplin -and it was a truly transformative experience! From the very beginning, Terri created a safe and welcoming space where there was no judgment and everyone's feelings were validated. This allowed for open and honest conversations to flow freely, creating a sense of community and support among the group. I was able to fully embrace my vulnerability and work through my grief in a positive and healing way. I am so pleased that I took the opportunity to attend this retreat and was able to form connective strong bonds with 9 amazing women, who were also on their own journey. I would highly recommend it to anyone in need of support and healing.
I left this grief retreat a changed and happier woman . After losing my daughter 8 months ago I needed guidance to live with my grief and open my heart . Everything about this past weekend was life changing in so many ways.
The healing I received was something my soul had long been seeking, though I hadnโt fully realized how much until I felt it move through me. Your story, and the stories of the women you brought together, created a container of love so powerful, it transformed grief into a gateway of compassion, strength, and deep connection. Thank you, Terri, for creating a space where pain was honored, where vulnerability was met with reverence, and where love flowed freely and without judgment. You are a vessel of divine wisdom and tenderness, and the energy you infused into every moment of the retreat was profoundly healing. My heart is forever changed. I carry the stories, the souls, and the sacred silence we shared within me, and I will hold each of you in my prayers and in my heart.

Your Grief Companion
Certified Master Grief Companion & Educator
Terri Chaplin brings warmth, wisdom, and years of deeply personal experience to this work. As a certified grief companion and educator, trained in advanced grief support and heart-focused techniques, she has walked alongside hundreds of people in the depths of loss โ helping them find their footing again through presence, compassion, and understanding.
Her calling was born from personal loss. After the deaths of her first husband and her son, Terri witnessed how easily the sacredness of grief can be overlooked โ how easily a grieving person can be rushed, minimized, or left to navigate the hardest experience of their life entirely alone. Those moments became the spark that guides her mission today.
Terri's work is about holding space gently and patiently. She witnesses grief in all its rawness โ the guilt, the anger, the longing, the confusion โ and stays present with it, without trying to fix it or move it along. Her approach is grounded in deep listening and simple, meaningful tools that meet each person right where they are.
She has been that steady presence for over 3,600 clients and students โ and she is ready to be that for you.
