I left this grief retreat a changed and happier woman. After losing my daughter 8 months ago, I needed guidance to live with my grief and open my heart. Everything about this past weekend was life changing in so many ways.
A space for sacred, unhurried healing, where heart-centered circle work and guided practices meet the stillness your grieving heart has been longing for. No judgment. No pressure. No one trying to fix you. Just space to rest, remember, and renew.
April 8-11, 2027Over the course of this four day retreat, you’ll step into a sanctuary designed to hold your heart with compassion and care, and give you the unhurried time and space to truly exhale.
Through thoughtfully curated practices, workshops, and restorative experiences, you'll have the opportunity to:
From gentle guided visualization to interactive heart-centered sessions rooted in HeartMath practices, every element of this retreat is designed to soothe your nervous system, deepen resilience, and remind you that grief is not the end of your story, it is a sacred passage into your becoming.
Terri Chaplin brings warmth, wisdom, and years of experience to this transformational work. As an accredited grief companion and educator, certified in advanced grief support and heart focused techniques, she has gently walked alongside hundreds of people in the depths of grief, helping them reconnect with their strength and sense of balance through understanding, compassion, and lived experience.
Her calling was born from personal loss and experiences that revealed how deeply grief care needs more humanity, presence, and heart. After the deaths of her first husband and her son, Terri witnessed how easily the sacredness of grief can be lost in transactional systems. Those moments became the spark that guides her mission today: to help families, professionals, and communities bring compassion back to the center of care.
Terri’s work is about holding space gently and patiently, without judgment. She witnesses grief in all its rawness and stays present with it, honoring each person’s pain as sacred and deeply personal. Her methods are grounded in deep listening and simple, meaningful tools that meet each person right where they are, creating room for healing to unfold naturally.
